It may not be surprising to many these days that the son of a farmer living in a village in Kerala is now leading a company in Delhi with more than 400 people working under him.
Born to Padmanabhan, a farmer, and Padmashyamma, a home maker, in Po-kunnom, Mavelikkara, in Alappuzha district of Kerala, on October 29, 1953, Mr. P.P. Sasidharan, after completing his graduation in commerce from Marthoma College, Thiruvalla, joined the Border Security Force (BSF).
After serving the nation with BSF for four years, Mr. Sasidharan quit the organisation. He then joined M/S Samrat Ceramics in Gurgaon as an accountant in 1983. As he was a commerce graduate, Mr. Sasidharan excelled in his job and his dedication and determination got him timely promotions.
Mr. Sasidharan rose through the ranks to the post of Manager with over 400 employees working under him. A man of sound business ideas and great leadership, Mr. Sasidharan took the company to great heights and the company is progressing tremendously in various fields.
Mr. Sasidharan is a widely travelled person and reads extensively to widen his knowledge base on management and for leisure.
Mr. Sasidharan is known for his service to society. He is the Founder President of Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalan Yogam, Gurgaon branch. He is a very active member of the branch and also actively working for the popularisation of the organisation.
Under Mr. Sasidharan’s direction, the SNDP branch has done many social service activities, especially during the distress period of COVID-19. The branch has over 65 families and active members.
Married to Shyamala Sasidharan, a home maker, the couple has three children. Their eldest daughter, Ms. Prathibha Sasidharan MA Bed is working as Teacher in Amrita School, Kochi. Their son, Mr. Prafuljit Sasidharan, who has a Masters in Business Administration (HR) is working in a private company in Gurgaon. Their youngest child, Ms. Priya Sasidharan completed her M.Phil in Economics and is looking for PhD.
