Father Stanley Kozhichira was born in June 25, 1972 in Thumpolly in Alappuzha district of Kerala to Augustine, a coir factory worker, and Victory, a home maker. He was much interested in theatre from his formative years and later developed an intense passion for producing theatrical works.

He was ordained as a priest in May 18, 2001. Fr Stanley has a PhD in communication, MA in Sociology, another in Mass Media, a B Ed and a post graduate diploma in Pastoral Communication.

Fr. Stanley Kozhichira is national record holder. He has won the prestigious Limca World Record for his Theatrical Production Ars ke Krantikari, the cine/ drama based on the life of St. John Mary Vianney in 2012 in which priests of the archdiocese of Delhi portrayed major roles.

Fr. Stanley has been in theatre for over 30 years. He has written and directed over 110 Plays and Street Plays.  He is an expert in Street theatre. He has conducted workshop in street theatre over 22 years. He has produced documentaries and tele-films for Doordarshan, and other productions houses in the capacity of  Director, Assistant director, Senior Producer, script writer.

He has been relentlessly working to set up ISH VATIKA, the eco spirituality centre for the archdiocese of Delhi from 2014 onwards. IshVatika is situated in Najafgarh on the out skirts of Delhi.

Fr. Stanley Kozhichira wears many hats.  He is the President of Signis India, World Catholic Communicators Association. He has been the Director ISH VATIKA, Eco Spirituality Centre; the Editor of Voice of Delhi, archdiocesan news magazine, the Editor of Buland Prajatantr, Bimonthly Hindi tabloid run by the Catholic Bishops of Hindi speaking region; he is the Director of Media Commission, archdiocese of Delhi.

His passion for theatre has him acting in the capacity of Mentor of AWAAZ, Street Theatre Groups’ he is the Regional Secretary of Signis India, Northern region; Fr Stanley was also a Governing Board Member, of YMCA, New Delhi.

Fr Stanley’s expertise ranges from Street Theatre; Theatre workshops; Communication Coaching; Skills Trainer; Performance Coach; Education Orientation Trainings’ and as Motivational Trainer. His other fields of interest include Photography; Interior design; Graphic design;  Stage design; Stage Lighting and Sound design

Fr Stanley’s contributions to society includes “DivyaVachan”, Hindi Bible App for mobile devices; “ARS KI KRANTIKARI” Cine drama; Tele-film on birth of Christ, “Putrodaya”; Tele-film “Hamara Ashiyana”; Musical “ANTARDWAND”; Musical “Light of Love”; Musical “Our Lady of Fatima”; Musical “Colours of Life”; MotheBeigna, Cine Drama on the Life of a franciscan sister; “Francesco” Cine Drama on the life of St. Francis of Asissi; “Rise” Cine Drama on Christian Education; “Paul and Sword” Cine Drama on the life of St. Paul the Apostle; “The Knots”, Cine Drama on the issues of Family;  and “The Abode of Love” on the parable of prodigal son.
